FACT: Nintendo made a keyboard controller for the GameCube, which apparently worked. And now that we have the Nintendo Switch 2 charging grip with GL/GR buttons as a proof of concept, there is nothing stopping them from making a keyboard grip accessory. If that isn't enough to sell you, you could snap one Joy-Con to the keyboard to connect it to the Switch, then use the other as a mouse. Boom, you've reinvented PC gaming.

I would like to report that I sincerely hate this website even more. Not only does it hold your request ransom until you register or accept defeat, but it does actually process your request and display it behind a blurwall that can't be removed through HTML amputation. The result can be retrieved through an element inspector, but that can't be done on browsers that don't have one.
. . . heh, sorry; I'm just a little too worked up about the mechanical injustice of this website. Had to vent it somewhere.

I seem to have the latent ability to crack innocent jokes that end up blowing up into a running gag. This afternoon, while playing in a Rain Meadow arena lobby, I pointed out that everyone was playing as Rivulet, and . . . let’s just say that things went a little overboard. The Chain Chomps biting their tongues joke and the entire Mineral Fish fandom are also in my ability’s portfolio.
This classified advertisement in a magazine is what I believe to have been my first encounter with the Pokémon franchise, and one of the reasons why I chose Pokémon Legends: Arceus as my entry point into the fandom. The copyright notice at the bottom of the page is dated 2009, and the other advertisements in the magazine, both classified and integrated, suggest that it was from the transition between the 3DS and the Wii. And after searching up this card collection, its release date aligns with the copyright year. My consensus is that these magazines were outdated by almost a decade when I first read them. Unless . . ?
It would be awesome if there were a device that could mimic a Nintendo Switch dock. Yes, I know that dockless docks are a thing, but this one would do so much more that just being a dock. It would connect to a computer running companion software, displaying full-quality, high-speed video that a capture card can’t match. It would be able to simulate a controller plugged into a dock’s USB ports, allowing you to use third-party controllers. If you connected it to Steam, you could configure controller inputs using the more advanced Steam Input system. And if you connect the client to Steam Link, multiple people would be able to play a local multiplayer game over the internet.
Nighty . . . morning. I had better be able to sleep now.

FACT: Lightbulb to outlet power adapters are a thing that exist, and I would suggest bringing one on vacation as a contingency! Just in case you end up in . . . like, either a very old or extremely fancy building with no exposed power outlets, so you can just unscrew a lightbulb and charge your phone using it. After all, lightbulb sockets aren't proprietary, and haven't been supplanted by a modern alternative!
