It would be awesome if there were a device that could mimic a Nintendo Switch dock. Yes, I know that dockless docks are a thing, but this one would do so much more that just being a dock. It would connect to a computer running companion software, displaying full-quality, high-speed video that a capture card can’t match. It would be able to simulate a controller plugged into a dock’s USB ports, allowing you to use third-party controllers. If you connected it to Steam, you could configure controller inputs using the more advanced Steam Input system. And if you connect the client to Steam Link, multiple people would be able to play a local multiplayer game over the internet.
