here are a bunch of pictures I took over the long weekend:

saturday

sea of blooming mountain laurels (there were so many and it honestly was such a highlight)

pretty pink mountain laurel + can you see the trail?

random abandoned tractor I found on the side of the mountain

more flowers! also you can see off the ridge a little

crossing the power line cut

~ in total this was about 8 miles (13km) and a bit rough, but it’s good to remind myself I can do it
