Charlie Kirk was in the middle of speaking when he was shot. Those were his last words. He definitely did not think it would be his last day.

Life is not guaranteed, and what will happen when it’s over? The only way to have true life now or for eternity is trusting in Jesus. If you don’t trust him, you need him.

I used to be anxious and living for the approval of everyone around me. I was saved by Jesus on July 4, 2023 and now my life has totally changed. The only thing that saved me was the power of God, not self-help or anything like that.

I didn’t agree with Charlie Kirk on a lot of things, but as far as I know, we would have agreed on this.

OK so firstly, scrap the entire second part, for reasons already discussed. Secondly, make it either about Kirk or Jesus, it just conflicts and doesn’t come off nicely when both are put together. IMO to both points.

I don’t want to get into whether Charlie Kirk would have agreed or not, but his death reminded me of how short life is (not even focused on religion), and how we need to live for the right things, and I’ve really been thinking about it for a while. That was my personal reaction to it, and I believe using this account to share that is good.

I don’t believe I’m minimizing his death, but using it to remind people in a respectful way. Sorry if it came across differently 👍

I’m only saying this because it really made me think personally. I’m not just looking for opportunities to twist everything to support my views. It genuinely made me consider whether I’m living for the right priorities and using time wisely. And I believe posting this is respectful to Mr. Kirk and his family. It’s fine if you disagree though 👍
