windows 11 needs hot corners, for example my long term kde and gnome use has trained myself that left-corner-cursor-smack opens the overview - you don’t even have to click. windows doesn’t do that and i would rather commit tax fraud than rewire my muscle memory
generative ai in it’s current state is an unoptimized parlor trick and i think it’s corporate stewards should’ve worked on it more. we should’ve had time to implement safeguards and regulations
but instead we got a short-term-value arms race
maybe i use too much wishful thinking but my high hopes for good uses for this technology get dampened every time i have to explain to someone that that video they sent me wasn’t real and was made by an ai content farm for ad revenue

The AI bubble might finally be bursting!?
pleeeeeease?
bazzite seems cool, but my only concern is that the ‘immutable’/’atomic’ design probably means you can’t modify whatever the maintainers determine as “core” and thus are at their mercy for hardware support
but i also really don’t want to spend the time debloating a windows 11 iso just for games - which is all this install is going to be used for, i rarely use anything adobe makes and my school uses google docs for everything anyway
i would buy a steam deck or other dedicated pc handheld but i am brokeass
i can’t decide if i think this feature is useful or not
“Oh no! It’s the consequences of my own actions!”

there HAS to be a word for the feeling of oncoming dread when you’re reading documentation and you underestimated what you got yourself into
character modeling is going to drive me fucking insane
trying to get on fedi but can’t decide a server because i feel like they all have a theme or some kind of structure and i usually fit into neither box
rank the programming languages you use by how much of a punishment it would be if a court ordered someone to learn them and maintain something with them
signed up for “the funny™️” and it’s just really quiet, even after following some users

i initially thought me being really good at rhythm heaven would mean those skills would transfer over to geometry dash, but as it turns out, no, it doesn’t
(although that also might be that i haven’t played geometry dash in like 2 years anyway lmao)
finally got my hands on an actual gba - only issues are that the battery backplate is missing and the shoulder buttons are weirdly mushy-feeling
don't have any games, but since i am broke i’m going to get a flash cart
