seeing Elon jettison one of the best logos ever designed for the most generic name and logo ever, for no reason other than to be edgy, absolutely breaks my heart as a logo and branding designer

the name and X logo are both too generic to be copyrightable, why in the hell would anybody change from one of the best brandings of the decade to a brand so poorly made and bland that it's impossible to even defend from plagiarism in court

imagine the trouble this is gonna cause with UI when people won’t know if clicking an X is gonna close a window or redirect to the site’s home page

Elon Musk says terms like “cisgender”and “cis” are now considered “slurs” on Twitter and will not be tolerated.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Elon never said that you can't say the word. He said that repeated harassment would be banned. The only thing he said about the word cis is that it was considered a slur. You can still say many slurs on Twitter (such as the N word)
