twitter is no longer worth saving

Twitter is on its redemption arc. As a daily twitter user (I don’t have an account but I scroll on there), it has gotten more funny and engaging than ever. And you can now make a living off of twitter. If (and when) I start a Youtube channel, I would definitely start posting the videos on twitter and being monetized.

And yes, I know all of your reasoning. I’ve heard it all before. Twitter is objectively getting better (unless you care about politics more than user experience)

I think, if anyone other than Elon had bought it, you wouldn’t be complaining this much.

• the mango-flavored chewy candies are disgusting. any teacher who dispenses them should not be allowed near children

• not everything needs to be about politics. literally, i go anywhere other than school or home, and the moment i try and talk to someone they just decide to bash me for my political beliefs and then go on and on about theirs

I’m interestred on other users unpopular opinions on this site, especially the ones who bash/ratio my takes! Who likes banana on pizza? Who thinks Lis was a good prime minister? Who thinks Blackberry phones are still great (does that company even still sell phones?)

Talked with my dad about it. The main problem is following all the building codes (so that we can actually realize the value). The stairs to the attic aren't up to code, which is a problem

I’m thinking about finishing off the attic in my house. We’d get a 3rd floor. It would also add quite a bit to the home value. Should I try to do it this summer, or would it be too much work?

I think about housing a lot, and I’d love to make a housing company that combines the work of James Turrell, Kanye West, and my own style with statistical data about how people want to live. It would produce modular housing that would be substantially cheaper than current prices, for the same amount and quality of space. It’s crazy to me that even in 2023, houses are still made by hand on site. Imagine if cars were like that!

Also, such a company would make complete towns, not just houses, for the best quality of living. Lots of nature around the houses, each would be very secluded, but they would also be walking-distance from stuff like gyms, convenience stores, and such.
