Update on this after a long time: I just looked at the results from 2024. My district was 53.7-45.1 Trump. My friend’s district was 52.5-46.2 Trump in 2024.

On my run today, I counted 14 houses with Trump signs and 16 houses with Harris signs. I looked up the results and my precinct, which is just neighborhoods like mine, voted 55% for Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
My friend, whose neighborhood is newer, has less expensive houses than mine and has more houses in total, said he counted 27 Trump-supporting houses and 12 Harris-supporting ones. His precinct, which has some rural area in it, voted 58% for Trump in 2016 and 57% in 2020.
