Here’s another Europe flag. I’ve seen a lot of people support a “federal Europe” so I thought this might be a good way to represent that, with the classic EU flag but also some stripes.
there are still 13 stripes so they still represent the 13 colonies lol
Yes, that is meant to indicate the 12 European Union states in 1986. The extra stripe indicates the openness for future expansion. The American founding fathers had vision. They decided to preemptively include the EU on their flag before it was even founded. So the USA flag was really about the EU from the beginning. The founding fathers knew one day Europe too would be united, just like America.
