People say that America is losing its position to China, but at least militarily only America has a world-spanning military force. We’re the only country that can invade a country on a different continent (Venezuela) and capture their leader, invade Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. China could literally never do any of that.

i saw another post that says this division between north and south is something europeans who don’t know america would say (arizona is usually considered to be “the west” not “the south”, but virginia is sometimes considered to be “the south” despite being farther north than arizona)
