Blaze has horrible security and kinda fails as a social media. That does not mean ANYONE should be exploiting vulnerabilities to take it down.

i don’t really have a side in this argument because i haven’t used blaze, but here’s my observations:

>be infamously built using wix, a website builder not meant to host social media sites
>have security issues
>make post on wasteof saying we have to shut down because it costs too much to run
>offer paypal/btc donations to allow users to fund us so we can hypothetically come back
>get quickly called out for spending too much money on a website that could have easily been hosted for cheap
>announce intention to create a blaze memorial site
>release “memorial site”
>it’s not actually a memorial site
>it’s blaze rebuilt from the ground up without wix
>oh and also it’s vibe coded
>everyone realizes you just took people’s money to drive attention and host something that you were clearly capable of paying for in the first place
>have your website spammed by angry people in an attempt to shut it down

To be fair, we did remove donations immediately from our post and we actually took no money. Any money you did give us would go towards improving and scaling the website further than it would. And you would also get a verification badge for when we brought the verification badge back.
