For me personally I’d rank the Deadbeat singles like this:
Dracula
End Of Summer
Loser
Probably gonna be weaker than The Slow Rush, Currents or Lonerism for me, I haven’t been crazy about the single other than Dracula personally, End Of Summer is a vibe but I wished it was a bit more ambitious like other long tracks he’s done like One More Hour, Apocalypse Dreams, Posthumous Forgiveness, Let It Happen, New Person, Same Old Mistakes, etc. And Loser feels just a bit too repetitive, even Mind Mischief, The Less I Know The Better or Borderline have more elements that make the repetition work, Loser can be a bit too repetitive without much else going on other than the slight change in the bridge.
Overall though I still like the singles in general, just not as much as I did the singles for The Slow Rush for example. But still hyped for Deadbeat to drop.
Also happy to hear you like Lonerism now! It’s a great project with some of Tame Impala’s best material in the psych rock phase of their career (InnerSpeaker has some good material too though).
lonerism is awesome imo, big fan of currents, lonerism and the slow rush
opinion on deadbeat so far? for me it’s End of Summer > Dracula > Loser
also i love lonerism now

It’s honestly hard to believe he’s the same guy that wrote Sun’s Coming Up. like that almost made me cry
Yeah, Tame Impala has changed a lot sonically over its lifetime
