While neither are good numbers, I suggest you look towards the greater problems. It’s really unfair to make fun of the UK when you're somewhere here it's much worse.

P.S.: The greater problems are, in my opinion, violence (of all types) and Trump in the USA and the effects of the British Empire in the UK. Those are the most concerning right now.

I didn’t say anything about the entirety of the U.K.. I was making a joke using the stereotype of a single city. Imagine if someone said “I’m in Chicago, I’ll let y’all know how many times I get shot,” and I replied “Actually, the chances of you getting shot in the U.S. are extremely low. You should look towards the greater problems in your own country,” or something.
Also: You’re also way more likely to get stabbed in the U.K. than in the U.S. because it is 37 times smaller than the U.S.

Also, 69% of the UK is farmland, you aren’t going to be stabbed in a quaint little meadow. But you can get killed in an American field with those gun laws :)
