There are large footsteps throughout the tunnel, and the further down you go, the clearer they get, until you hear a noise.
A growl comes from the edge…
And then something appears, a large monstrous creature, with a deep black and slimy coat. And it speaks to you.
“What brings you here!?” It roars
How do you respond?
“luckily I brought a can of 7.82 Hour Energy™ so I simply chug that and have the energy to do everything™"
You chug the can and choose option 1…
Heading right and feeling energized, you continue down the tunnel, until you find something - an imprint in the ground. The creature has been here.
You continue and find multiple, and then you reach a crossroad.
There are three tunnels ahead of you, each having the same creature’s footsteps going through them, they seem to appear out of nowhere, how is that possible?
What happens now?
Go through the left tunnel
Go through the middle tunnel
Go through the right tunnel
You turn back…
You arrive back at the crossroads, you check your pocket and the key is still there, but you have little energy left, you doubt you can keep going.
What now?
Go to the right to find the creature
Leave the sewers
“(3) Pick up the key AND keep going forward. But also put that key in my pocket that doesn’t have a hole in it” was chosen…
You pick up the key and continue forward…
You go forward and forward, but find nothing, not even a trace of that creature, but there’s a light at the end of the sewer tunnel
You have little energy left, what now?
Turn back and go the other direction to find the creature
Continue forward
The monster roared? Can it growl too?
Besides this, my response would be that I seek for the gate which bars The Forbidden Melodies
