also I’ve been tasked with trip planning, where should my family go on vacation this summer?
Nova Scotia
Not sure my family would be as interested but I really want to drive up there on my own at some point, I’ve been having some good daydreams of road tripping atlantic canada lately
yeah I’ve never been actually. I was gonna suggest Maine, but I’m thinking we oughta support somewhere other than the US with our tourism
Of course, I say this while on a roadtrip across the states.
We would’ve dipped into Mexico, but one in our party is without a passport
Hey to get there I’d have to go through maine…
I had a professor in college who took a motorcycle trip all the way up to cape breton and that seemed pretty cool
Mexico actually sounds pretty fun but I don’t think my family wants to do much outside resorts there and that doesn’t really interest me as much, cause I start to get restless being stuck on a beach when there’s so much more to see
Personally I kinda want to steer us towards europe but then flights get way more expensive and all that so who knows
Washington, D.C.
maybe as a weekend/day trip that could be fun, I can’t remember the last time I went to dc with my whole family
australia
Would be great but probably too far
tickets are fairly cheap in winter (winter is july) and its a good time for hiking and stuff
tickets did seem cheaper than I expected when I looked earlier, but they’re still expensive. I don’t know if I could convince my parents to fly for at least 20 hours is the thing. I would really love to go road trip australia one day though
lol fair enough, its worth it tho
