Hot take: The new YouTube video bar with the red to pink gradient looks nice and is better.
I love the new red colour but the magenta/red gradient is a bit too subtle and is confusing people into thinking something is wrong with their screens, which isn’t ideal. The old red was just boring so I am really glad to see a nicer shade being used tho, softer but still punchy.
yeah the gradient could be more subtle. But I think it’s nice, and out of all the changes Youtube has done the past few years it’s no where near their worst
Oh yeah, the new red is a welcomed change, far better than the old one, plus the wordmark is more legible now too
