The cricket World Cup has got me thinking: what is the dumbest school rule you had?
for me it had to be that, when playing cricket in primary/elementary school, if you hit the ball out of the sports arena you’re out.
Like WTF, I’m hitting fucking dingers but since the cage is so small I get out when I should be getting a 6 (or loads of runs as points as that’s how we played cricket in school) absolute bullshit.
You have to wear dark blue socks at my school. Not a lighter blue. Not dark gray. Not black. Dark blue.
How are they possibly going to enforce that lmao "AHA!! Pop sock check, everybody take off your shoes! Sorry, Timmy, your socks are of color #1d428d, not #1d427d! Detention, now."
Luckily they don't enforce it but it's still in the rule book
Same with my school you’re suppose to wear grey socks but they don’t enforce you to wear them, you can really just wear any sock colour and they don’t give a shit
