I have an idea for a wasteof extension. Things it adds:

Popup notifications for messages
Toast notifications whenever someone posts in the chat
Mark messages as unread on beta (if that’s possible. It would only work if the same token works on both beta and prod)
Show more badges on chat and explore (the beta badge isn’t shown on either, but the verified and admin are)
Dev features like showing the post id on the post, and having a socket.io log and such
Chat link in the navbar
Show a user’s badges on their posts
Square pfps?
Hover over a username to see their bio and stuff
wasteofstats and wasteofbot graph integration
Show the total number of comments a user has made on their stats

Any other things I should add? I’ll have to do it when I get a new computer tho

I’ve already developed the user badges on posts/messages/trending/feed and the profile hover cards for @wasteofplus and I was already planning to add square pfps and popup notifications for messages. But the dev features, stats, and a chat link all seem like really cool additions!

Also, what do you mean by “show socket.io logs”. i understand how the wasteof websocket APIs work, but I don’t understand how you want them to be logged 🤔

You could contribute to it, as I’ve never made an extension before. And I won’t get my computer for like 2 weeks so it’ll be a while
