valid points, if NFTs were used for verification of actual art or digital products it could be more useful than just overpriced ugly monkey trading, there should be a better and more direct connection to the blockchain and the actual thing though because right now it seems really really easy to mess up at any of the steps.
It would be cool to see an actual good use of blockchain and all that stuff, but right now its just cringe, also a lot of stuff can just be done with secure databases and other already existing/used technologies.
I think of nfts as just high-tech oil paintings. It's mostly a flex for rich people
