Agreed with the crypto one. I’d rather have those mining GPUs used for AI research than for making a quick cash.

do you mean that NFTs are not stupid, or are you just saying the technology of NFTs isn’t stupid? because NFTs in their current state are just trading overpriced ugly monkeys

After some thinking about it, I think the idea of using blockchains and stuff for some sort of currency is not necessarily a stupid idea. A way to exchange a set of equipments and time to mine what could be said as a digital ore makes sense. However, since they can somehow be exhanged to a real-life currency, they are basically a form of money, and we know what will happen when people join that game.

For NFTs though, I had no idea how they work, nor do I care.
