the funny thing (which yes, i am only just now getting around to saying because on the internet you can withhold information with others and say it’s funny) is that what i meant by the original post was that an entity that didn’t knew languages and not the concepts might misinterpret it this way, not that i had

during french class today i had a thought:
when you say “during autumn, the leaves change colors”, this could be misinterpreted as meaning that during autumn, the colors of the leaves cycles thru the entire color wheel on a sec/min scale instead of that they gradually change from greenish to orangish
do any of y’all have any other such misinterpretable descriptions of seasons?
