Just cleared out some old tabs - apparently I had over 450 tabs open in the incognito browser on my phone this time
The earliest one still there was from my trip to Portugal so I guess that means on average I open five new tabs a day that never get closed when I’m done with them
I just turned an assignment in with 762 words when the range was supposed to be 500-750 and I’m really curious to see if I get any points taken off or even a comment for writing too much
I know the official nominees haven’t been announced yet but I hope some day there will be a presidential election I look forward to voting in
not too appreciative of the one person who has yet to contribute to the writing part of a group project due in 30 minutes :\
I was thinking about a food stand I got fried squid at that was called “Bocalamar”
when I was there I thought the name was clever because you could read it as bo calamar (good squid) or boca la mar (the words for mouth and the sea)
I just did some googling to see if there were any more meanings and it turns out if you stretch a little you could also read it as bocal amar (a word that could be used to mean fishbowl and the verb for to love) or bo cala mar (good, a word that could mean cove or soak or other water related things, and sea)
I don’t know if all of this was intentional or not but I just thought it was cool how many (even if loosely) seafood/ocean related words fit together
we lost but honestly played really well for never practicing as a team and I feel really confident about the next one
my friend from high school is joining a color guard I guess and the group chat is not happy lmao
if I ever have kids and I live in an area suitable for trick or treating then I’m totally going to enact a candy tax on them in exchange for escorting them
