I have a group presentation in about an hour (8am). It’s not a big one and I haven’t been stressing over it at all or anything. The past couple days 3/4 of our group has been putting in and editing slides with no contact from the last member (which I didn’t really think about cause people don’t show up all the time for this class).
I wake up this morning to an email that was sent at 1:30 from him saying that he’s been talking with the other guy (although their conversation was at 10 last night lol) about planning our presentation. Apparently him and the guy he was talking to will do the first four slides, while the girl and I each have one of the remaining two. The three of us each did two slides but now I guess my work will be presented by other people and I’m stuck with just the last slide now.
I am just in awe of the nerve of this guy to put in 0 work but then still try to slip in at the very end. I know I ramble and complain a lot and this really doesn’t affect anything cause this is like 5% of the grade and I’ll email the professor about it later, but it just shocked me this morning and because there are no stakes I think it’s just funny in a way
Interview went well (I think?)
Company seems good - not too sure if I want the specific sort of job though, so I’ll try to apply to some other places and see if they’d want me
Overall feeling better about my prospects of not starving to death after college :)

I still have yet to do McAfee’s knob (the drawing), which is embarrassing cause I currently live like half an hour from there, but one of these days before it gets too cold I will definitely go see it
if my body feels a bit better tomorrow I’ll go walk a bit of the AT just to get out and about
eating brownie batter, if I’m already sick what’s the worst that could happen
in a step towards not wasting money I attended a career fair
let’s hope I can actually get hired some day
