Did not go to a 7-Eleven today but I’m reminded of one of my favorite memories from my trip to California last year -
I happened to be in Los Angeles on July 11th and the hotel I was at was across from a 7-Eleven. I got my cup from the cashier and went to find the machine and I passed a couple from Australia who had just left the airport basically. One of them saw the cup and asked me about it so I informed them that it was in fact 7-11 that day and they could get a free Slurpee®.
This place was filthy, even by convenience store standards, but they were genuinely excited to be there and it was awesome. Glad I was able to welcome them to America 🇺🇸
I finally signed up for the online trial for my switch 2 so I could play mariokart (turns out mariokart fortnite is really fun!)
I won my first standard race somehow so I decided to walk off on that and try a knockout tour, which I then somehow also placed first in
Every other attempt since I have been knocked out in the first or second round so I think I might have just used up all my luck for the rest of the year
