i honestly don’t know how, or how long this has been happening, but for some reason my website doesn’t load and instead goes to a 403. i’ve managed to make it redirect to my scratch profile, but literally nobody can access it, not even me. fun
EDIT: so uhh, i’ve been doing some digging on my analytics tool, and the last pageview was at 12:43 PM yesterday, so that kinda helps me figure out when exactly the website went down.
It’s a real shame that Appel had to be reshared because of a bunch of immature hackers deciding to cheat at the global highscore on a game released on a coding website designed for children.
i’m working on something in javascript that uses apis, and every time i try to use that api it doesn’t work and throws the error that looks like Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://coolapi.thing.

i was in a discord server, and this one user was using them
and i didn’t know what they meant (they were numbers enclosed in curly brackets)
so i asked what they meant
and this person got really angry, telling me “you aren’t even paying attention” and “let people clarify what they mean”
like, dude (the person was he/him), calm down, i don’t know what “{23}” means, please just tell me so i can understand what your saying
i don’t know why
but the web host i’m running my website on is complaining about a “chat script” on my website, which apparently violates their tos
however, there is no “chat script” on my website
in the email they keep sending me, they link to a blog post i made which contains a snippet of an irc conversation and repeatedly asking me to remove the "chat” despite there not being one
i keep trying to explain it to them, but they seem to ignore me and continue to complain about the irc snippet
