added a sound card on the VM and it “works”:
yeah there’s no sound, the xbox recorder thing doesn’t record it for some reason

if only the thing ran 100× faster than it currently is
there was a bit of intermezzo where my Fedora session got unstable (me trying to restart dbus isn’t helping, but then again the session has been on since 30 days), so I had to use Jeff as a backup
user-mode emulation could be better (being Arch ARM, the VM runs systemd which extends the boot time a lot), but I have to wait until I’m on Fedora again. this is at least miles ahead from the buildroot image I tried to make (it doesn’t recognize the graphics card at all ='( )
so I tried to install Arch on NTFS (because my brain could act funny sometimes)
it’s been stuck building the initcpio image… wonder what it’s doing right now

update: it doesn’t boot with grub, kinda expected that
what should be a nice gameplay of beatblock turned into 2 hours of desk-banging because someone at Fedora didn’t test qemu-aarch64-static properly and it’s screaming for a missing library I can’t install since dnf absolutely refuses to install packages meant for other architectures
they’re weren’t wrong when they say Linux is a half-assed operating system
