why is it there?
earlier this afternoon someone at my uni that may be at a cusp of being a scam/job exploit victim asked me my bank. he asked if I can be nice and probably asked me to pay him something (he said glasses at some point, though I can’t make out most of what he said)
if only my verbal communication skills were ever good, I would say “I’m cool, thanks” or something more sincere than “no, sorry” I said to him instead
It saddens me to announce that John, my new main, now has the same battery problem as Jeff.
The battery applet thing on KDE has already giving warnings to replace the battery ~3 days ago, and now it can’t turn on without getting power from the charger
every time I see my classmate use any flavor of Linux I always wonder why they use them
(and yes, they seem to all be Linux; no one I see used blank-BSD or other Unix-likes yet, not even macOS weirdly enough)
this is the third time my laptop shut itself down without saving my progress, and it makes me mad
by entering that vibe coding contest I may have accidentally sent myself into the most tech bro seminar I’ve ever entered =|
edit: and of course I have to create an account to be eligible for the contest >=(
edit 2: ah great I have to plan the project, and already I’m out of ideas since it has to use AI
EL++: External libraries are useful and should be utilized as much as possible. Less code written, less hassle later.
EL+: Every time I code, I always think "well, there's gonna be a library for that..."
EL: I use external libraries as I see fit.
EL-: I use external libraries if I really need it. Dependency hell is a real threat and I want to avoid that as much as possible.
EL--: External libraries are evil! Everyone should write their own programs. Never let stranger's code run on your computer.
