you can respect a move/decision of someone whilst also not respecting the person - if someone has done something nice but has also been mean or whatever in the past doesn’t mean what they did was now not nice

To abide by my school’s new “no shits in school” policy, today I shat on my hand and put it in my pocket - thankfully no one noticed though.
This is an absolute huge moment for me and I hope you appreciate and respect my change, I feel this adds more class and meaning to my username, with the use of repetition further forwarding the word “dert” as being the key to my username. Furthermore, it incorperates the word “nerd”, which implies 1. I’m a nerd and 2. I like the nerd emoji, and they are true.
