the new jury system in the geometry dash awards is actually so smart since the majority of players voting are kids who joined 2 months ago, and the jury accounts for half of the votes and consists of much more experienced players that don’t have popularity bias
however, i think that 50% weight is a bit much, one third would probably be better since it won’t be able to drastically influence the win, but push close contenders to winning
