I love Victor Hugo books
if you don’t know who he is he wrote Le Miserables and the Hunchback of Notre Dame in the 1800s
he has like the craziest style that’s so interesting but also he spends like a quarter of his books talking about the architecture of Paris and then kind of suddenly someone’s getting hanged or something lol
Is this sort of like Jules Verne but with architecture instead of elaborate scientific descriptions?
