Hi, I need to get some opinions about something.
First of all, I’m not running for wasteof president again next year.
It turns out that being wasteof president has been a lot less fun than I thought it’d be, and I want to go back to moneywasting for the fun of it instead of feeling obligated to engage the community in elaborate bits, none of which have been received particularly well.
I wish I could just abolish the concept of there being a president right this instant and formally proclaim Jeffalo the supreme ruler of this website forever. Despite the fact that I’m not going to be participating in the hypothetical next election, I remember what it was like the previous two times, and I’m not sure anyone in the community really wants to go through the experience a third time.
Then again… I did make a ton of campaign promises that I have yet to fulfill, and I don’t want it to look like I’m bad at delivering on my promises, because I certainly can deliver - but the reception so far really doesn’t motivate me to do anything.
Really, either option stinks, I’m at an impasse, and I need your opinion.
Should I kill off the concept of there being a president and face the consequences of forgetting to post a picture of some oatmeal like I said I would six months ago, or should I finish the job and continue to let this negatively impact my motivation to do anything remotely creative?
I mean… now that I frame it that way I feel like the answer is obvious, but I still would like to see what you think. Thanks for reading, sorry if this read like a rant (I mean it sorta was but I can’t really blame anyone because humor is subjective after all), and uh… I don’t know how to end this post, so I’ll just say bye.
