incinerate your windows installation, if you’re on lenovo you also need to boot into linux to remove the windows preload efi keys entirely or it will reinstall itself on first reboot even with a completely stock windows install

holy shit lenovo puts that in the preload partition? i thought it was just on the factory os installation 😭

yep, absolutely disgusting, literally took me hours to figure it out while trying to remove all the lenovo bloatware for a new employee laptop for my work, every time I reinstalled windows it kept coming back, safe to say no other employees will be receiving lenovo laptops other than that one lmao (we used Dell before but then a bunch of our Dell laptops shat themselves including my personal one that was retired from work)
