Stripping the LGBTQ+ rights movement of its meaning, generalizing all LGBTQ+ people as arrogant and stubborn for trying to defend their existence and identities, then comparing them to LLMs and advertising companies all in a community with many queer folk is one of the most offensive and thoughtless things you can do.
A half-arsed apology, “I’m just being honest” and leaving the community thing definitely isn’t helping your case.
Sorry, just had things to say about a recent TBGForums incident. Not the thing I’d usually post, but some things have to be said. I hope to make a return to regular posts soon-ish.
What happened?
In short, the host of this year’s TBGForums Christmas tree decided to be queerphobic during some discussion about rules regarding decorations that could be added. (We wanted to get rid of the ChatGPT logo someone added and things escalated)
