Alright I’m breaking character for a second:

This whole island thing was written and intended to be published over the course of a week. We aren’t going to mess with that schedule, and the story will be over in three days.

But thanks to our lack of initial indication that we were going to pull a stunt, and our lack of indicating that said stunt had a definitive ending, I now see that this whole thing has come across as a weird never-ending attempt to stir up drama, or us dragging a joke into the ground until it’s not funny any more, or maybe a combination of the two.

What I’m trying to say is, our bad. We should have set this up in such a way that wasn’t so… annoying for people not in on it.

Needless to say, as soon as this thing is over (which as a reminder will be on December 1), we’ll be going back to normal and we’ll never speak of this again.

Until then, maybe send us a helicopter.

It’s actually funny from this perspective. but like idk I was kinda worried you (kiwi) were gonna like leave wasteof and at the same time cause a buncha drama the way people do on darflen.

then you came back to life, died again, came back to life and died another time.

With regards to my post, don’t take it in a personal way, you seem a nice guy and I enjoy your posts. But yeah the joke (which I admittedly haven’t been completely following) had too many twists and turns where it just became a bit boring. No need to apologise though bro, it’s wasteof no big deal

Thanks for the comment - I really do appreciate your clarifying :) I just wanted to address this and get it sorted out before it completely got to the point where it stopped being fun and started being a countdown to when we’d get the hint and move on :P

Hey, go easy on yourself - PEAK as a game is rather unpredictable, so trying to translate the gameplay into a story is inevitably going to have a ton of twists and turns unless you’re willing to seriously deviate from the material :P

For me I’ve struggled to think of ways to joke about it on The Wasted Onion, only did a single post about it so far bc I think I didn’t exactly know how to make something sound silly enough that it wouldn’t feel like I was just predicting what was gonna happen next lol
