it’s somewhat poetic how a zelda game that was in development for at least five years and was supposed to be the wii u’s “killer exclusive” instead turned out to be the switch’s killer exclusive* and killed the wii u in the process
*at least pre-odyssey anyways

the wii u has to be one of the most over-engineered consoles i’ve seen, like beyond nintendo land and affordable space adventures, what purpose did they think the gamepad was practically going to serve? other than increasing the price of the console by $150 and giving one person the cool new controller while everyone else gets the old wii remotes?
it’s flawed, and i love it for that lol
