bro i keep forgetting the g’(x) when i’m doing my calculus homework
like i understand how the chain rule works i just don’t remember to use it half the time
easier to think in d/dx notation imo
wdym? you can’t leave it in d/dx if the problem asks you to take the derivative
no idea what iwas getting at, but I find dx/du x du/dy → dx/dy far easier to understand and visualise in equation than with the f’() stuff
okay i’m very confused now (it’s probably that i just haven’t learned it that way)
i was thinking of the h(x)=f(g(x)) h’(x)=f’(g(x))g’(x)
yea i wrote it out wrong and explained it terribly, look up Leibniz's notation and then chain rule and it will make sense, personally I find it more intuitive but honestly i dotn even know why that was relevant to ur post at all lamo
