ATTENTION BLAZERS!

As you all know, multiple laws, including the Online Safety Act in the UK and the KOSA and SCREEN acts in the USA, are currently being passed and implemented, which will affect most major sites such as YouTube, Spotify, X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and so much more. These acts require that every person gives some sort of ID or proof in order to use even the basic functions of the Internet. The reason for this is to ensure kids are protected on the Internet, however we all know that this is completely bullshit and a violation of our internet rights and privacy. The real reason is because they want control over your life completely, and to end freedom on the internet.

With that being said, this is where we step in. Will we require ID for individual accounts to use Blaze? The answer is no. There are already better ways to protect children on the internet, and the fact that you need an ID to use the basic functions of the internet is absolutely unnecessary. We will instead do this the old fashioned way, just like before. If you sign up for an account, we will assume that you are over 13 (or 16 for Australian residents), and if we find out otherwise, we will just ban your account until you are of legal age to use social media. We are more than happy to comply with the government, but we put our users and their privacy first. We’re more than happy to work with governments to ensure the safety of the kids while protecting online privacy. Thank you for your time.
