it would be cool if there was an app that automatically syncs everyone’s music in the same space so you’re all hearing the same song in real-time. like a playlist, but social. kinda like… a local audio stream. and if needed they could have human hosts who talk between songs to relay info quickly to people. like announcements, event updates, or news or whatever. wild no one’s done that before.

there is user interaction too, you can send requests/jokes and they have traffic updates related to the truckersmp multiplayer servers, very cool, just like a real life fm radio station in a city
they have to cover licensing fees though, making a similar app but where users can define their own private spaces and invite people is a bit sketch in the copyright side of things right?
oh yeah and we cannot forget the classic, 2020-2021 era of discord music bots, everyone just spamming the queue with whatever they want, and having votes for skipping the current song 😂 and of course you can speak as much as you want and share screen/webcam too, i think most of the bots are down due to copyright reasons

Lowkey would be fun to have your own radio station to play stuff throughout the day. You could like shove an antenna on your roof, and then always have access to your playlist, without needing any mobile data.
I have a cheap diy radio transmitter kit that does this. It has almost a 200ft radius, which is the legal limit without a permit in America, but it does the job

bonus points if it’s implemented like an open protocol so any device can tune in and listen and people can easily set up new ‘channels’
