Today is officially 10 years since I made the da-ta Scratch account, which just so happens to also be the first ever account I made on Scratch. I’ve used Scratch since 2011-ish with 1.4 but moved on 2.0 when I discovered the Scratch website. I used my grandmothers old laptop that was given to me after she passed to make a remake of The Sims 4 (which was bad) and eventually share it to what would be da-ta. Since then I just kinda never stopped, I would make bad games, then bad music video things for FNAF songs (lol) and eventually I’d start delving into design. I made logos for da-ta since 2016 but got into it properly in 2017, during all of this I made my alt accounts da-ta2 in 2016, @Auriali in 2020 and its alt account AuriaIi (with an uppercase i). I’ve changed a lot since then, I was 13 when I made da-ta. And I’ve done a lot, like start a podcast with @MicahLT and @Perrin, lots of designs, some music, plenty of memes and of course, wasteof.
All of that is to say thank you for ten years! Whether you’ve been around for ages or know me more recently, I appreciate all the lovely comments and so on from you all. This website as well has Scratch opened a big online community for me, and I’m very grateful for that.
