idk what to name this, but im documenting it here. The Door Method

in games with procedually generated interiors (ex. lethal company) it’s easy to get lost, so i made a way to backtrack using doors (if they have any). so you can tell which way somebody has gone based on where the door is facing. so when i backtrack i go through doors that are facing me, because that’s the opposite way from me opening the door getting there. yknow what i mean? anyways tell me how long ago this was discovered bc i fs am not the first to know it. i did think of it myself tho
