I really wish that I could make this little rarity part of my team, but at level 35, there’s virtually no chance that’s going to happen. I pulled my starter Cyndaquil through thick, thin, and more than a couple dozen XP candies to bring it up to speed with the rest of my team, and even now it’s the only one who hasn’t reached the level cap. This little anomaly will be staying a budding apprentice at best.

If you posess another game, you can train it externally to help it catch up.

I did this in order to have enough EXP to challenge a certain boss.

I was thinking about tapping into the breeding functionality in other games, so that I could obtain a regular shiny Typhlosion. However, none of the sources I could find said anything about duplicating shinies through breeding.

I’ve been wondering about the policies for transferring Pokémon between games. It’s probably an unspoken rule that they can’t be transferred into non-native environments, but I have seen people using Hisuian Typhlosion in Scarlet/Violet. Maybe, once Legends Zygarde gets HOME support, I’ll get ahead of the curve by transferring a Hisuian Goodra in . . . or whatever’s handy.
