i say this as a windows aero enjoyer, but this is waaaaaaaaay too much transparency
agreed, the lack of color and also the really intense distortion just make it hard to tell what things are
also the fairly plain square buttons in the middle just look kind of ugly in contrast with the rest of the UI, especially with the fairly big size of them
i think i prefer the current media control look where it’s just the “line” icons - giving things a translucent border does not give it more “depth” (opinion)
I agree, especially with something like media controls you should really be focusing on making the interface simple and easy to use, instead of being flashy, because generally you want to be paying attention to the media, not the interface lol.
I can imagine the heat
The beta has impacted battery life a bit, but it doesn't get hot unless it's charging. That being said, the Gravity xkcd comic can easily turn my phone into a hand warming packet.
what model do you have
(mostly since i’m concerned all the transparency is going to make my 3-year-old iphone 12 turn into a hyper hand warming packet)
iPhone 13 mini. Don't worry; it's just that one page. The liquid glass doesn't have a noticeable performance impact.
even if it did, i would use the “reduce transparency” option since the way things look right now makes things hard to read for me
