For all we know, every atom in the universe would be considered unstable matter and explode the microsecond the system updated! If you figure out how to implement a new physics system without destroying the universe, give me a call.
Yeah, but even if they did, the investors would go broke. They wouldn't necessarily go broke from anything in particular; they, and their money, would stop being economics and start being physics. I have serious questions about these investors.
