I used to be into sneakers, back at the height of that fad. I kinda got tired of that trend and while I was gone, Nike and the other companies juiced it so hard. The prices for newer sneakers are down to like half what it used to be (which was pre-inflation too). It’s kinda crazy how much they destroyed the market.
The trend also died down too, which lowered prices
