ok i’m just gonna go out and say it: an account dedicated to cheerleading for the Democratic Party is just as dumb and cringe as one cheerleading for the Republican Party.
obviously there’s a lot more to make fun of/be appalled by with republicans, and their current agenda is actively pushing America on a downward spiral toward trump-deifying authoritarian fascism, but that doesn’t make democratic politicians any less incompetent, ineffective, and afraid to challenge the existing status quo, nor any less willing to sacrifice the livelihood of working class at the behest of billionaires for the party’s own interests.
they are by far the lesser of two evils, but they are still not good. the american people deserve a party that actually serves them well. right now there is none. are they actively being prevented from doing as much as they could? absolutely. but even when they are in charge, they have proven time and time again that they don’t do enough to actually fix the issues the US faces, because they benefit too much from the status quo to enact real change. they, like republican politicians, are backed by corporations and billionaires, and thus cannot risk enacting policies that threaten their profit margins.
Corrupt politics with pride and blm stickers is still corrupt politics.
tl;dr: anything is better than what we have right now and republicans are absolutely horrible, but don’t let democrats off the hook for their inefficacy and corruption. we need better.

it was more tedious methinks bc of how horrible the capitalism account’s points were lmao I could feel the desperate exasperation from socialism through the screen, you could tell it was a 14 year old behind the capitalism account, like you can with the republicans account now, but the fact that capitalism was trying to seriously argue whilst armed with zero knowledge of the topics at hand was just hard to watch
