What a rather two-sided proposition.
i think there is a difference between individuals pirating things for personal use and multi-billion dollar corporations taking everything ever shared on the internet to train ai models that they are working on making into a industry that turns over money and is going to be used to replace creatives who had their work taken to train the ai that will replace them.
Still, both are cases of one hurts another. Piracy hurts sales, scraping hurts creators. Is one more wrong than the other? I don't know! Honestly, I don't care. It will end up with carnage anyway. Might as well sit down, have a popcorn, and enjoy the show while it's still on the air.
