this is literally not true. if we ban politics from wasteof.money, we ban politics. free speech is still allowed, just don’t bring up politics lmao. this policy is implemented in so many places (schools, companies, etc).

yeah that makes sense, government is prevented from joining a social media website in order to spread their political influence and beliefs and subsequently totally bans the website altogether

people would be silenced for speaking their political beliefs

literally like two people on this entire platform actively try to talk about politics

making individuals go to other sites, eventually causing the shutdown of the website due to lack of use

the ratio of political speakers to non-political speakers on this platform says otherwise

also, banning politics from wasteof is not censorship. censorship is banning the distribution of information about a certain topic in order to inhibit the public knowledge about said topic. banning politics in the interest of keeping the platform pure does not inhibit your ability to simply look up political events and post about them on another platform such as twitter. my point about banning politics still stands.
