I would very much like to understand why some people say “hai“ with a variable amount of i‘s as a greeting. It’s not shorter than “hi“ and even the a and i are very far away in a keyboard. It just seems like a waste of energy.
I mean if you keep your hands on opposite sides of the keyboard it’s not that much of a waste of time/energy but I don’t really see the point in it either
