So I found my record player has USB output. I felt I need to DJ for my friends, so today I got it setup.

First, I needed a USB type B cable? I had never heard of them, but I got one from my audiophile brother.

I got my record player plugged in; oh no, I can only do one input for VCs! And I can't hear it!

I got voicemeeter to fix this, only to be met with the equivalent of a virtual mess of cables.

Eventually, I corrected the input/output channels so that I could hear and my friends didn't hear the desktop.

Now I can play jazz in the VC and no one can stop me!
