Today was my last last doing work experience at a bank! It was very fun but finance is so much more complicated than I anticipated…, which really isn’t a surprise when you think about it
The area I was in specifically was risk (just things that can go wrong financially, building models to prevent them and to mitigate risk, making graphs with data, a whole lot of whatnot involving maths equations). I feel like algorithms predicting stocks correctly 62% of the time should be a terrible thing, but apparently it’s very good?? Huh??

predicting the future is hard yknow
Especially when everyone does it simultaneously and because of each other, overcomplicates things
thats why kids you invest in a diverse range of stocks
Just get a real job
